Yonkers, NY -- The driver of a vehicle that had become disabled on the Tappan Zee Bridge about 2 p.m. suffered a head injury when the vehicle was struck by an oncoming vehicle.  The passenger in the disabled vehicle and the driver of the other vehicle suffered minor injuries and all three were taken to hospitals for treatment.

Orange, CA -- The driver of a vehicle that struck a disabled van on the 55 shoulder about 1:30 a.m. was seriously injured and had to be extricated with hydraulic equipment by firefighters.

O'Fallon, MO -- A car that had stalled on I-70 about 9:25 p.m. resulted in multiple crashes. A tractor trailer that was trying to avoid the car hit it and forced it into the 23-year-old pedestrian standing with it. He was transported to a hospital with minor injuries. A third vehicle, trying to avoid the stalled car, hit the truck, causing no injuries. A few minutes later, a vehicle trying to avoid the disabled car hit the concrete barrier. That driver was transported to a hospital with injuries.
