Good Samaritan Semi Driver Hit on Wisconsin Interstate

Madison, WI -- The driver of a tractor trailer who stopped to assist with an SUV on fire on I-39/90 was hit by a car while walking back to the SUV. The 45-year-old truck driver had stopped ahead of the SUV and left his cab to help when he was struck by a car driven by a 32-year-old woman. Her car then crashed into a passing semi and was pushed into the parked semi.  The truck driver was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries; the other drivers were not injured.
